Rising Soci@l Star, Australia’s first national talent search for up-and-coming social media influencers, is on the look out for the country’s hottest, smartest and coolest digital media creators.

Developed by Australia’s first influencer talent agency, The Remarkables Group, the talent search aims to deliver a fresh new platform for brands to engage with rising digital talent while also raising new influencers’ profiles in Australia.

All next gen digital influencers in fashion, beauty, wellbeing and travel across various platforms and channels (blogs, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Vine, etc.) are invited to apply. The only criteria for entrants are they must be over 18 years of age, be Australia-based and have been running their platform for a minimum of 12 months and a maximum of 36 months on 29th January 2016.

After an initial call for entries, 20 finalists will undertake The Apprentice-style content challenges. The four winners will be chosen by a panel of industry judges, including Lisa Messenger (Collective Hub), Kate McKibbin, (Drop Dead Gorgeous Daily), Christina Butcher (Hair Romance), Tim Duggan (Junkee Media) and Lorraine Murphy (The Remarkables Group).

Winners will receive an initial six-month contract with The Remarkables Group and $4,000 in cash to jumpstart their channel. In addition, they'll get a scholarship with Secret Bloggers' Business and appear at Vivid Ideas 2016.

The four finalists will also act as an ambassador for one of Rising Soci@l Star’s top-profile brand partners (Qantas, Priceline and Bonds) and feature in Collective Hub – the magazine for game changers, thought makers, rule breakers and style makers.

Entries are open until 11 March 2016 and winners will be announced at the Rising Soci@l Star party on 27 May 2016.
